When designing our new Team Excellence program we had both the need for up-skilling your staff and providing an environment where your teams can connect and bond outside the workplace in mind. That's why we divide the team building day into two interconnected halves: a morning workshop run by A Perfect Mind followed by outdoors team activities organised by professional team events coordinators after lunch.
The main components of the morning workshop are team motivation, communication, cooperation and self-leadership. The participants in the workshop will learn and practise these essential skills which are then reinforced by the afternoon team activities. Key messages customized to your requirements can be part of the training and are communicated throughout.
The whole day makes sure that participating teams and their team members develop a deep understanding that cooperation between them is beneficial for them individually and the company as a whole and that the results of their activities can be greater than just the sum of their parts.
The afternoon program ties in with the main learnings from the morning workshop and is designed not as a competition between teams but to emphasize that only cooperation of all teams wins the day. The teams have to solve challenges separately but then have to come together to deliver the big picture outcome.
